Campaign Launch Ceremony at Four Seasons Garden
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Everland announced on the 4th that it will hold a tiger conservation campaign titled 'Forest for Breath, Where Tigers Live' in celebration of 'World Animal Day.'
Samsung C&T Resort Division reported that on the same day, at Everland Four Seasons Garden, a World Animal Day commemorative tiger conservation campaign launch ceremony was held with about 100 attendees, including Han Seunghwan, President of Samsung C&T Resort Division, Choi Yeol, Chairman of the Environmental Foundation, and Jeong Gilbae, CEO of Yongin Cultural Foundation.
The event was held under the slogan 'Save the Tigers, Save the Forests.' The purpose was to spread the message to protect wild tiger habitats and to prevent their extinction.
The launch ceremony was further enriched by the participation of Park Sooyong, a world-renowned authority who has covered Korean tigers for 25 years since 1997 and produced documentaries and books.
Everland showed a short film themed on tigers on the large LED screen at Four Seasons Garden and also prepared a video and photo exhibition shot by Park Sooyong himself.
An Everland official said, "As a conservation institution beyond habitats, we will strive to conserve the endangered Korean tiger," adding, "We will carry out various activities in cooperation with multiple organizations to ensure continuous interest in tiger and environmental conservation."
