The Gwangju Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation announced on the 30th that amid the ongoing construction of Line 2 of the urban railway, led by Gwangju City, the canopy of Sangmu Station, which is planned as a transfer station between Lines 1 and 2, will be newly replaced with a bright and open-feeling material.

An official from the construction said, “Temporary inconvenience to passengers is expected during the canopy improvement construction period at Exit 4 of Sangmu Station, so we ask for your understanding,” adding, “We will proceed with the construction as quickly and safely as possible to provide greater satisfaction to the citizens.”
