Shinhan Bank Holds Hanoi Digital Finance Symposium in Vietnam

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Shinhan Bank announced on the 30th that it held a digital finance symposium in Hanoi, Vietnam, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Vietnam.
This symposium was jointly sponsored by the Financial Services Commission and the State Bank of Vietnam, with participation from the Korea Credit Information Services, Korean financial companies operating in Vietnam, local Vietnamese commercial banks, fintech, and digital companies.
On this day, there were active exchanges between the two countries on digital finance, including ▲ Presentations on the achievements of Korea's digital finance policies amid the 4th Industrial Revolution and the COVID-19 pandemic ▲ Introduction of digital finance policy directions (State Bank of Vietnam) ▲ Importance of centralized management and utilization of credit information (Korea Credit Information Services) ▲ Digital finance promotion strategies and case studies (Shinhan Bank) ▲ The present and future of digital banking in the Asia region (Boston Consulting Group).
The event featured discussions on the future vision of digital finance and the development of the financial industry. A promotional booth for the ‘2030 Busan World Expo’ was also set up at the venue.
