A Man in His 50s Arrested for Detaining and Threatening His Ex-Partner in a Car
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A man in his 50s has been arrested on charges of confining his ex-lover in a vehicle and threatening to kill her.
On the 28th, Judge Kim Intaek of the Seoul Eastern District Court issued an arrest warrant for Mr. A, who is accused of confinement and violations of the Sexual Violence Punishment Act (filming using a camera, threats and coercion using the footage), stating there is a risk of flight. Mr. A is alleged to have confined his ex-lover in a car on the morning of the 25th and threatened to "kill her" and "distribute the video."
