Naju City Successfully Concludes 'Integrity Golden Bell Quiz Competition'
[Naju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Yoon Byung-tae) announced on the 27th that it held a 'Clean Golden Bell' quiz competition to enhance public officials' awareness of integrity at the Sports Park Multipurpose Gymnasium on the 26th.
Held under the theme "Ring it! Raise it! Clean Golden Bell," this competition was held for the first time this year to allow public officials to easily and enjoyably learn essential knowledge and systems related to integrity necessary for implementing a clean administration through quizzes.
Among the 150 employees representing each department, a survival quiz format was used to determine the last person standing. Multiple-choice and subjective questions on the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, Conflict of Interest Prevention Act, and Code of Conduct for Public Officials were presented to increase employees' interest and enthusiasm.
The last person standing was Moon Sang-gi, an administrative officer from the Construction Division. Second place went to Hong Ji-hyun from Seongbuk-dong, and third place was awarded to Kim Min-ji, an administrative officer from the General Affairs Division.
Officer Moon said, "Regular self-study on integrity was very helpful, and I was a bit lucky. It was a meaningful time to reflect on a clean and communicative public service life and will remain a good memory."
Mayor Yoon Byung-tae attended the Golden Bell competition venue to encourage the employees, saying, "I hope you make eradicating corruption and improving integrity the starting point of all policies in the 8th local government term and do your best to provide administrative services that citizens can trust."
