LS Group Conducts Second Half Recruitment... "Join LS to Lead New Business Ventures"
Ongoing Recruitment Amid Atmosphere of Major Group Recruitment Reduction and Abolition
[Asia Economy Reporter Sunmi Park] LS Group is conducting its 2022 second half new employee open recruitment until the end of this month.
According to LS Group on the 27th, this year, four affiliates including LS Corporation, LS Electric, LS-Nikko Dongjeon, and E1 are hiring new employees. Unlike previous years, LS Corporation, the holding company of LS, is also conducting a second half open recruitment, accepting applicants without major restrictions such as business administration or engineering, with the purpose of selecting integrative future entrepreneurs who will rotate through key tasks such as business strategy, management planning, and financial management every 2 to 3 years.
The total recruitment scale is in the triple digits. Including occasional recruitment, about 1,000 hires are made annually. The positions available are diverse, including R&D (research and development), production, design, sales, finance, and management support, targeting graduates and expected graduates (February 2023) from four-year regular universities (graduate schools).
Final selection is made through document screening, online AI competency tests, interviews with practical staff, and executive interviews.
Earlier this month, LS resumed campus recruiting events at major universities, which had been suspended due to COVID-19, delivering vivid employment information through face-to-face meetings with students. To accommodate job seekers who find face-to-face consultations difficult, various programs such as an online metaverse job fair and company-specific job introduction videos were provided, receiving great responses.
After hiring new employees, LS operates various training programs to nurture future talents who will seek new opportunities in promising future industries such as batteries, electric vehicles, and semiconductors, creating synergy with existing businesses in areas like battery, electric vehicles, and semiconductors.
In addition to educational programs such as advanced degree courses and global leader development courses, LS also encourages work-life balance at the highest industry level by introducing a PC-off system to promote leaving work on time.
