View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] NS Home Shopping announced on the 26th that it held an appointment ceremony for the eight judges of Korea's largest cooking competition, 'NS Cookfest 2022 in Iksan.'
This year, the competition is held under the theme "The Most Delicious Recipe Using Fresh Natural Ingredients," further enhancing expertise in cooking and gastronomy. For the 'General Division,' which features 70 teams in the finals, the judges include Choi Sugeun, Director of the Korea Culinary Museum; Masters Park Hyonam, Jo Woohyun, Nam Daehyun, and Park Daesoon; and Yoo Jisang, CEO of Winner Chef. For the 'Student Division' and 'Special Division,' Masters Lee Byungwoo and Lee Sunok, a culinary technician, will serve as judges.
The judging panel will conduct evaluations from the document screening of applicants to the on-site judging of 100 teams in the finals, with a total prize money of 115.5 million KRW. The judging criteria are divided into ▲‘Theme Appropriateness,’ evaluating the natural taste of ingredients, harmony among ingredients, and nutritional value ▲‘Commercialization Potential,’ assessing marketability, popular taste, ingredients, and cooking methods ▲‘Creativity,’ evaluating original ideas.
