Gwak Do-won Booked on Drunk Driving Charges in Jeju... License Cancellation Level

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Actor Kwak Do-won (49, real name Kwak Byung-gyu) has been booked by the police on charges of drunk driving.
On the 25th, the Jeju Western Police Station announced that Kwak was booked on charges of drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act.
Kwak is accused of driving his SUV while intoxicated from Geumnung-ri, Hallim-eup, Jeju City to Bongsong-ri, Aewol-eup, a distance of about 10 km, around 5 a.m. that day.
The police responded to a report from residents about a stationary car on the road and apprehended Kwak at the scene.
Kwak's blood alcohol concentration was confirmed to exceed the license cancellation level (0.08%). During the police investigation, Kwak reportedly stated that he drove the car from Hallim-eup to Aewol-eup.
The police plan to summon Kwak and investigate the exact circumstances of the incident.

Kwak recently appeared in the ENA drama "No Goo Pil-soo," and the movie "Firefighter" is set to be released soon. Kwak, who has relocated to Jeju, served as a Jeju Island ambassador in 2018.
