Amy and Accomplice Involved in Drugs, Additional 6-Month Prison Sentence for Uncovered Crimes
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyung-min] An accomplice who was sentenced to prison for drug-related crimes along with broadcaster Amy (real name Lee Yoon-ji, 40) has had their prison term extended due to additional offenses being uncovered.
On the 23rd, Judge Song Jong-seon of the Chuncheon District Court Criminal Division 1 single bench announced that Oh Mo (37), who was indicted for violating the Narcotics Control Act, was sentenced to 6 months in prison, ordered to complete 40 hours of drug treatment lectures, and fined 1.45 million won.
Oh was prosecuted for purchasing methamphetamine (Philopon) twice in July of last year. The court considered Oh's remorse and the fact that he was undergoing an appellate trial for violating the Narcotics Control Act along with Lee during this case, and sentenced him to 6 months imprisonment.
