Rocket Punch, Annual Unique Visitors Grow Approximately 20 Times
Annual Net Visitors Approximately 3.7 Million
1 in 7 Economically Active People Use Rocket Punch
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Allicon, the operator of the career network platform 'RocketPunch' (co-CEOs Kim Seong-min and Jo Min-hee), announced on the 23rd that the annual unique visitors of RocketPunch have grown approximately 20 times over nine years since its launch in January 2013.
Starting as a startup recruitment platform, RocketPunch has grown into a career network platform by enhancing personal business profile features in 2016. According to the data released this time, about 3.7 million people visit RocketPunch annually. This represents an 18.5-fold increase from 200,000 annual visitors in 2013. Currently, based on Statistics Korea, one out of seven economically active people aged 25 to 59 uses RocketPunch.
Unlike other closed recruitment platforms, RocketPunch, which aims for recruitment services based on public profiles, has about 500,000 individual members, roughly half of the domestic tech industry workforce. To resolve information asymmetry between job seekers and companies, there are about 200,000 meticulously prepared company information public profiles. Networking among RocketPunch users has been recorded at approximately 5 million interactions over the past nine years.
RocketPunch, which adopted a 100% autonomous work method without an office, has structured its service to allow users to view remote work-available job postings at a glance. As of this year, 20% of registered job postings support remote work. Additionally, to meet the needs of the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), the service will be updated to strengthen career profiles by identifying who has shown interest in an individual's public profile and highlighting strengths recognized in the industry. Even if users are not immediately considering job changes or employment, the platform plans to significantly enhance features that allow career management and networking with industry-related personnel.
Last year, RocketPunch integrated accounts with the distributed office platform 'Jibmusil,' enabling Jibmusil members to check business profiles based on RocketPunch and form online and offline networks. Furthermore, a new premium service allowing simultaneous use of RocketPunch and Jibmusil will be launched by the end of this year.
