[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam, held the 'Hope Grab and Work Job Go' Job Fair on the 22nd.
The fair held at Gimhae Culture and Sports Center was attended by 26 companies, including automobile parts manufacturers Heungil Enterprise, Kwangshin I&P, KDA, machinery parts manufacturer Geonyeong Industry, aircraft parts manufacturer Hana ITM, and secondary battery manufacturer Jeil MNS.
Through this fair, companies aimed to hire about 190 people and engaged in recruitment activities and one-on-one on-site interviews.
More than 500 job seekers participated, including retirees and those scheduled to retire from manufacturing companies.
At the event venue, side events such as ▲professional resume consulting ▲free ID photo shooting ▲job stress tests ▲career tarot aptitude tests were also provided.
This fair was jointly hosted by Gyeongnam Province, Gimhae City, Gimhae Employment Welfare Plus Center, and Gimhae Employment Stability Preemptive Response Support Center to resolve employment difficulties in local crisis industries such as automobile, machinery, and aviation sectors.
Starting with this job fair, the city plans to hold a specialized high school job fair in October and a middle-aged job fair in November.
