A Man in His 50s Facing Trial for Attempted Break-In at Neighboring Woman's House, Arrested Again for Stalking Her
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A man in his 50s, who was on trial for attempting to break into a neighboring woman’s house, was caught by the police after stalking the victim again.
The Andong Police Station in Gyeongbuk announced on the 22nd that they arrested Mr. A on the spot on charges of violating the Stalking Punishment Act (Act on the Punishment of Stalking Crimes, etc.) and are currently investigating him.
According to the police, Mr. A is accused of visiting the house of his neighbor, a woman in her 30s named Ms. B, around 8 p.m. on the 21st, knocking on the door and repeatedly pressing the front door password to try to open it.
He is also known to have harassed Ms. B for about 30 minutes by shouting demands to open the door or asking for a date.
Previously, Mr. A was caught trying to enter Ms. B’s house in June and is currently on trial.
