Jeonnam Fire Department Challenges for 2nd Consecutive Year Victory at National Firefighting Skills Competition

The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Kim Joil) announced on the 22nd that it held a send-off ceremony for the Jeonnam representative team for the '35th National Firefighting Skills Competition' on the 21st.
The '35th National Firefighting Skills Competition,' held on October 27th this year at the Central Fire Academy, has been held annually since the 'Firefighting King Selection Competition' in 1983 to enhance on-site response capabilities and protect citizens' lives and property.
Jeonnam Fire Headquarters won the overall championship (national first place) at last year's competition and received the Presidential Award.
This competition features 20 participants competing in 8 events across 5 categories: fire, rescue, emergency medical services, best firefighter, and fire investigation.
The team pledged to fully demonstrate the skills they have honed so far and achieve excellent results.
