At this LA Korean Festival Agricultural and Marine Products Expo, Hamyang wild ginseng, Hamyang-gun Nonghyup Cooperative Joint Business Corporation, Jin Engine Food, and Herb & Tea will showcase products such as pure wild ginseng, perilla powder, bugak (fried laver chips), and infused teas locally.
In addition, about 40 products from 8 companies, including bamboo salt products, Yeoju tea, Dong care, ABC vinegar, and purple sweet potato syrup, which were shipped last July, will be exhibited and sold.
Furthermore, through a local radio broadcast conducted at the Hamyang-gun booth, Hamyang’s anti-aging agricultural products produced in the clean area of Jirisan will be actively promoted. Plans include conducting local market research and checking the status of Face Shop operations to devise ways to expand exports to the Americas region.

A county official stated, “So far, Hamyang-gun, the Hamyang Agricultural Products Export Promotion Association, and Hamyang-gun Face Shop have maintained an organic cooperative relationship, and as a result of actively striving to expand export routes of Hamyang agricultural products to the Americas region, we have achieved about 1 billion KRW in annual exports to the US, centered on LA and extending to the East Coast.” He added, “We will continue efforts to diversify exports and marketing activities to further promote Hamyang-gun’s anti-aging agricultural products and expand exports.”
