Forecast, 30 Social Economy Enterprises Selected for Support Project
Support of 3 million won each
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] The Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC) will select 30 companies as beneficiaries of its social economy enterprise support project.
KDIC announced on the 21st that it will carry out the "2022 Social Economy Enterprise Growth Support Project." This year, the number of supported companies will increase by five from the previous year, selecting a total of 30 companies.
The selection evaluation will be conducted with the participation of external members of the ESG Promotion Committee, focusing on contributions to social value and efforts to realize it, growth potential and sustainability of the business model, among other factors.
To reflect the importance of eco-friendliness, a separate recommendation process through specialized institutions such as the Social Enterprise Promotion Agency, Seoul SaeHwalYong Plaza, and Seoul Social Economy Center will be conducted alongside a general public recruitment (for two weeks) targeting companies specialized in the environmental (E) sector.
