View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism appointed Professor Baek Hyunju of Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts as the president of Gugak FM on the 20th.
The new president's term is three years, until September 19, 2025.
President Baek Hyunju graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Sookmyung Women's University and earned a master's degree from the graduate school of the same university. She worked as a political and cultural reporter for Seoul Ilbo, served as an invited professor in the Broadcasting and Entertainment major at Daegu Arts University, and was CEO of Seoul Shinmun NTN.
