[Asia Economy Reporter Sim Nayoung] Woori Financial Group announced on the 20th that it is recruiting companies for the 3.5th batch to participate in the start-up collaboration program, ‘Dino Lab (Digital Innovation Lab).’
In this Dino Lab 3.5th batch recruitment, the group plans to discover promising future companies pursuing new industries and technologies such as ▲digital platforms ▲ESG ▲AI (artificial intelligence) ▲robotics ▲mobility.
Companies selected for Dino Lab 3.5 will receive support from the scale-up program including ▲collaboration opportunities with Woori Financial Group affiliates ▲investment attraction ▲global expansion ▲recruitment support ▲expert consulting. In addition, they will have the opportunity to move into independent office spaces at the Dino Lab 2nd Center located in the venture promotion district of Gwanak-gu, Seoul, and freely use large seminar rooms and rooftop lounges.
Applications are open until the 10th of next month, and detailed information on participation methods and the program can be found on the Woori Financial Group website.
Meanwhile, Woori Financial is continuously expanding the group’s future new growth engines through ongoing cooperation with promising start-ups.
Recent synergy cases between Woori Financial and Dino Lab include the business partnership formed in August between Woori Asset Trust, a real estate comprehensive finance subsidiary, and Funble, a real estate investment platform company, for commercial real estate investment and platform transactions. They successfully completed the subscription for the ‘Lotte World Tower Signiel No.1’ real estate fractional investment.
Also, in July, Woori Financial’s affiliate responsible for facility management, Win P&S, and HRM, a circular resource solution company, signed a resource circulation efficiency business contract to enhance Woori Financial’s ESG practices by increasing the utilization of recyclable waste discharged from the head office building and digitizing the waste disposal process.
