Completely Redesigned Model Unveiled After 7 Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] BMW Korea revealed the prices of the luxury flagship sedan, the new 7 Series, which is scheduled for official domestic release in November, on the 20th.
The BMW new 7 Series is a completely redesigned model introduced for the first time in seven years since 2015. It offers a futuristic mobility experience through sophisticated and bold design, driving pleasure, unparalleled ride comfort, and the best digital experience.
In particular, the 7th generation new 7 Series boasts a larger body than the previous generation model, providing a more comfortable and spacious interior. The front headlights are divided into upper and lower sections, and the optional BMW Crystal Headlights Iconic Glow feature adds a mysterious charm as embedded Swarovski crystals sparkle according to the headlight illumination.
The interior has been transformed into a space offering a new level of digital experience. The front seats are equipped with numerous innovative user experience features such as the BMW Curved Display and BMW Interaction Bar, while the rear seats support a 31.3-inch BMW Theater Screen, Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system, and high-speed connectivity through a 5G-compatible antenna system, creating a moving cinema.
The models currently available for pre-order are the BMW new 740i sDrive Executive Package and the pure electric model i7 xDrive60 Executive Package. The BMW new 740i sDrive is equipped with a new inline 6-cylinder engine producing a maximum output of 380 horsepower and a maximum torque of 55.1 kg·m, paired with an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. The BMW i7 xDrive60, featuring BMW's 5th generation iDrive system, delivers a maximum output of 544 horsepower through two electric motors and is equipped with a high-voltage 101.7 kWh battery with high energy density, providing ample driving range.
The BMW new 740i sDrive comes with 20-inch wheels and a Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system, while the BMW new i7 xDrive60 adds 21-inch wheels, Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system, Executive Drive Pro, and rear seat massage functions as options, offering a premium mobility experience.

The domestic launch prices are 173 million KRW for the new 740i sDrive Design Pure Excellence Executive Package and 176.3 million KRW for the M Sport Package Executive Package. The pure electric model i7 xDrive60 is priced at 215.7 million KRW for the Design Pure Excellence Executive Package and 218.7 million KRW for the M Sport Package Executive Package.
