Gwangju Nambu Fire Station '119 Multi-Channel Reporting Service' Guide
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] On the 19th, the Gwangju Nambu Fire Station announced that it will intensively promote the ‘119 Multi-Channel Reporting Service,’ which allows various methods of reporting in case of disasters such as fires, rescues, and emergencies.
The ‘119 Multi-Channel Reporting Service’ refers to a service that enables simple and quick reporting not only through voice calls but also via text messages, apps, and video calls.
For text reporting, sending a message to the 119 number will be received by the 119 control center, and photos and videos can also be attached.
For video call reporting, pressing 119 and then the video call button transmits the caller’s video and audio, allowing foreigners or hearing-impaired individuals who have difficulty communicating to report using gestures, sign language, or notes.
Reporting via the 119 app involves downloading and installing the ‘119 Report’ app, selecting the reporting service, and sending the report.
