Jeongeup-si Successfully Concludes 'Youth Culture Communication Festival' at Gonggam Plus Center

[Jeongeup=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] The Jeongeup City Youth Support Center Cheongjeongjidae held the '2022 Youth Culture Communication Festival' at the Naejang Sang-dong Gonggam Plus Center on the 17th to celebrate the 3rd Youth Day.

According to the city on the 19th, the '2022 Youth Culture Communication Festival' was a festival planned, recruited, and operated over five months by Jeongeup youth themselves, starting with recruiting a festival planning team in April.

On the day of the festival, under the slogan 'Youth Now is 000,' it was operated with a Food Zone, Play Zone, Healing Zone, and Challenge Zone to support various activities of Jeongeup youth exhausted by the pandemic, providing diverse experiences, rest, and performances to youth and citizens.

Additionally, beneficial programs for youth such as MBTI personality type tests, stress tests, and personal color diagnosis reflecting youth interests were conducted.

A youth participant said, "It was a precious time for youth to find themselves and understand their tendencies, not just a festival where youth only enjoy and play, as it was planned and operated directly by youth."

Mayor Lee Hak-su said, "Seeing youth interact, communicate, and participate in various programs gave a sense of vitality," and added, "We will continue to provide administrative support without hesitation so that youth do not lose their smiles and energy."

Meanwhile, Jeongeup City Youth Support Center Cheongjeongjidae operates various projects such as job programs for prospective youth, youth festivals, discovering youth instructors, and employment competency enhancement education under the slogan 'When youth grow, the future of the region grows' to support stable living for youth in Jeongeup.
