This is interpreted as his intention to take legal action if the People Power Party Central Ethics Committee imposes additional disciplinary measures against him.
On the same day, Lee Jun-seok stated on his Facebook, "If someone fires a missile, it can only be intercepted by THAAD or Patriot missiles."
He continued, "There is no way to launch a preemptive strike elsewhere with THAAD or Patriot missiles. There is no way to preemptively attack through an injunction," adding, "If you do not fire offensive missiles, there is no reason to launch interceptor missiles. You just need to avoid the actions subject to injunctions."
Lee also said, "The reason people say 'Why are there so many injunctions?' is because many unreasonable actions are taken preemptively."
Heo Eun-ah, a People Power Party lawmaker who served as the party's chief spokesperson under Lee's leadership, also viewed the possibility of injunctions as high. Heo appeared on CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show' in the morning and said, "I think they might file (an injunction)," explaining, "Otherwise, the results of previous injunction applications would have been different."
Lee's legal team pointed out in a statement that "the decision to initiate disciplinary action against Lee is a judicial obstruction aimed at influencing the 3rd and 4th injunctions, and a retaliatory act in court after consecutive losses in injunction cases."
Meanwhile, Heo criticized the initiation of additional disciplinary procedures against Lee, saying, "The president's philosophy of state administration begins with freedom and fairness," and added, "It cannot become a 'Minority Report' party without even the minimum free will."

Heo further stated, "What we fear most when expressing ourselves is a situation where sanctions follow just for the expression itself," and warned, "If those who have been gagged are given the right to gag others just by expression, ultimately, the scope and degree of those who must be gagged according to their tastes could change. The flaws of the Ethics Committee are scarier than its decisions."
