[Tomorrow's Weather] Temperatures Drop Below Average from Night... Rain and Strong Winds in the Southern Regions
The morning low temperatures range from 20 to 26 degrees, and the daytime high temperatures range from 21 to 30 degrees.
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] On Monday the 19th, due to the influence of Typhoon No. 14 'Nanmadol', rain and strong winds are expected in the southern regions including the Gyeongsang area.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 18th, rain is expected in Jeju Island until early morning, in the northern inland areas of Gangwon Yeongdong and Gyeongsang inland regions until noon, and in the central and southern parts of Gangwon Yeongdong and the Gyeongsang East Coast until late afternoon. Some parts of eastern Jeolla are also expected to experience rain from early morning to morning.
Expected rainfall amounts are 30 to 60mm (with a maximum of over 150mm) along the Gyeongsang coastal areas, 50 to 100mm in Gangwon Yeongdong, Ulleungdo and Dokdo, 20 to 80mm in the eastern inland Gyeongsang and mountainous areas of Jeju Island, and 5 to 40mm in eastern Jeolla, western inland Gyeongsang, and Jeju Island excluding mountainous areas. Strong winds with maximum instantaneous wind speeds of 25 to 35m/s will also blow in Jeju Island and the Gyeongsang coastal areas.
Sea waves will reach 2.0 to 8.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 2.0 to 6.0 meters in the South Sea coastal waters.
Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 2.0 to 10 meters in the East Sea, 2.0 to 5.5 meters in the West Sea, and 2.0 to 8.0 meters in the South Sea.
Due to the typhoon, high waves may strongly rush onto sandy beaches or overflow rocky shores, breakwaters, and coastal roads along Jeju Island’s coast, the southern coast, and the East Coast, so special caution is required.

The morning low temperature is expected to be between 20 and 26 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 21 and 30 degrees Celsius. Daytime temperatures will be similar to the average, but from night, cold air will flow in from the northwest, causing temperatures to be lower than usual. Fine dust levels are expected to be 'good' across all regions.
