CU Collaborates with Jeongyukmyeonche and Yakitori Muk to Launch Convenient Ready-to-Eat Meals
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] CU will sequentially launch a series of restaurant-style ready meals with enhanced quality, collaborating with representative restaurants featured in the Michelin Guide Seoul 2022, starting from the 19th.
According to CU on the 18th, these ready meal products commercialize signature menus from Yakitori Muk, Jeongyukmyeonche, and Hwahaedang, which have received the Bib Gourmand rating. A total of nine types will be released as HMR (Home Meal Replacement) and convenient meals.
The collaboration products with Yakitori Muk, famous for yakitori, use chicken. The Yakitori Muk Special (5,300 KRW) is a product where you can enjoy two types of grilled chicken coated with a special soy sauce and gochujang seasoning. It also includes wasabi and pollack roe mayo sauce to enhance the flavor of the grilled chicken, and a neat touch is added with cabbage salad and stir-fried mushroom vegetables.

The Braised Chicken Triangle Gimbap (1,100 KRW) is filled with finely chopped chicken braised in a special meat miso made with miso soybean paste, and the Chicken Soup (5,900 KRW), which has a rich and clean taste made with chicken broth, is also introduced.
The Jeongyukmyeonche collaboration products include three types using the Kkaebusu sauce, made by stir-frying pork in a peanut and sesame seed ground Zhumajiang seasoning: Kkaebusu Rice, Kkaebusu Noodles, and Choyurinki.
Also introduced is the Crab Shell Sauce Triangle Gimbap (1,300 KRW), a collaboration product with Hwahaedang, famous for crab marinated in soy sauce.
