Hometax and Sontax 'Internet Tax Law Consultation' Reception Expanded to 24 Hours
[Asia Economy Sejong=Reporter Kim Hyewon] The National Tax Service announced on the 18th that it will expand the reception hours of the internet tax law consultation channel through Hometax (mobile Sontax) from the existing 9 hours a day (from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) to 24 hours starting from the 19th.
With the implementation of the 'Internet 24-hour Open Consultation,' taxpayers can conveniently inquire about any questions related to national taxes at any time. Taxpayers who find it difficult to use the 126 telephone consultation during working hours can use the internet consultation at any time.
The internet tax law consultation can be accessed through the 'Hometax - Consultation·Report - Internet Consultation' menu. You can receive a response from the National Tax Consultation Center within an average of 1 to 3 days (on weekdays) from the date of submission. Weekends and public holidays are excluded.
