Gyeonggi-do Provincial Advisory Committee Holds First Full Meeting on the 16th to Begin Full-Scale Activities
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Province Administrative Advisory Committee held its first full meeting on the 16th at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Situation Room and began full-scale activities.
At the full meeting, the committee members and the heads of departments and bureaus at the provincial government had an introductory meeting and exchanged opinions on the committee's operation methods and the agenda items for which the province hopes to receive advice from the committee members.
The committee, formed on the 1st, consists of 11 experts with abundant knowledge and experience, including Chairman Kang Seong-cheon, representatives from the central government, and academia.
In addition to providing policy advice on important issues in Gyeonggi Province by sector, the committee will also participate in various communication events such as roundtable meetings and forums to express their opinions.
The committee will discuss and suggest improvement plans based on the sector-specific reviews of provincial policies conducted by the members at monthly full meetings. Additionally, it will conduct policy reviews and provide advice as needed.
