[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Hyundai Department Store is attracting Dior Homme, Tom Ford, Giorgio Armani, and others to its Pangyo branch, creating a luxury men's fashion specialty hall.
According to Hyundai Department Store on the 15th, the Pangyo branch is undergoing store renovations to celebrate its 7th anniversary. Next month, it will open an Herm?s store, known as one of the three major luxury brands (nicknamed EruSha), on the first floor. This is the first store of its kind in the Gyeonggi area and the largest in the country.
The Pangyo branch is Hyundai Department Store's top-grossing store, achieving annual sales of 1 trillion won just 5 years and 4 months after opening. The area has many high-income IT professionals in their 30s and 40s, and reflecting the characteristics of the commercial district, numerous famous overseas brands have been introduced.
