Eugene Investment & Securities to Serve as Title Sponsor of 2022 ATP Korea Open
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Eugene Investment & Securities announced on the 15th that it will participate as the title sponsor of the '2022 ATP Korea Open' starting on the 24th.
The Korea Open Tennis Organizing Committee announced that Eugene Investment & Securities has been confirmed as the title sponsor, and accordingly, the official name of the tournament has been decided as the 'Eugene Investment & Securities Korea Open Tennis Tournament 2022.'
The 2022 ATP Korea Open is a men's international professional tennis tournament organized by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), marking the first ATP Tour event held in Korea in 26 years since the KAL Cup Korea Open. It will take place from September 24 to October 2 at Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
This tournament will feature Casper Ruud, who recently rose to world No. 2 after finishing as runner-up at the French Open and US Open; Cameron Norrie, the new hope of the UK (world No. 8); Taylor Fritz, the next-generation ace from the United States (world No. 12); dynamic baseliner Denis Shapovalov from Canada (world No. 24); and Borna ?ori? (world No. 26), promising to bring joy to domestic fans. Alexander Zverev (world No. 5), who missed the Davis Cup due to injury, has expressed his intention to participate in the Korea Open and is currently undergoing detailed medical examinations at a hospital.
Eugene Investment & Securities, which has fulfilled corporate social responsibility through various social contribution activities, decided to sponsor this tournament as the title sponsor as part of its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management strengthening initiatives, supporting tennis, a sport with high potential for growth in popularity.
