Gyeonggi-do Transfers 80 Promising University Technologies to Companies
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will hold a technology transfer briefing session for 80 promising technologies owned by universities.
On the 15th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will hold a technology transfer briefing session at 2 p.m. on the 20th at the COEX Conference Hall in Samseong-dong, Seoul, to strengthen the corporate competitiveness of small and venture companies.
This briefing session is part of the "Technology Transaction Promotion Network Project" promoted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Gyeonggi Province. It was prepared to transfer unused patents owned by universities and research institutes to small and venture companies to enhance technological competitiveness and create new growth engines for companies.
The briefing is jointly hosted by four metropolitan area technoparks: Gyeonggi, Gyeonggi Daejin, Seoul, and Incheon. A total of 80 promising technologies will be disclosed, including ▲ methods and systems for creating virtual and augmented reality spaces ▲ fine dust reduction blocks ▲ next-generation lithium batteries.

In addition, support projects from the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, the Small and Medium Business Technology Information Promotion Agency, and the Science and Technology Job Promotion Agency will be introduced, and on-site technical consultations will be conducted at consultation booths. It is expected that technology transaction support tailored to the characteristics of each industry and technology will be possible.
