Sacheon City Hosts 'Aviation Specialized Job Fair' Providing Employment Opportunities for Job Seekers and Employers
33 Companies Including Aviation Firms in Sacheon Region and Over 500 Job Seekers Expected to Participate
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sacheon City in Gyeongnam Province has decided to abolish the 'Gyeongnam Western Region Job Fair,' which was jointly hosted by eight cities and counties in western Gyeongnam, and will independently hold an 'Aviation Specialized Job Fair.'
According to the city on the 14th, the '2022 Sacheon City Aviation Specialized Job Fair' is scheduled to be held at Sacheon Gymnasium from 1 PM to 5 PM on the 22nd.
This fair was organized to provide broad employment opportunities to job seekers and employers, and to offer effective employment services through information exchange and resolving information mismatches.
In particular, due to the increased order volume following the COVID-19 pandemic causing labor shortages in the aviation sector, the event will be held one month earlier than in previous years to quickly address the manpower shortage.
The fair is expected to have participation from 33 aviation companies in the Sacheon area and about 500 job seekers.
At the recruitment booths, one-on-one on-site interviews and hiring will take place between job seekers and employers, while the promotion booths will showcase job opportunities from employment-related organizations and government policies tailored to companies.
Additionally, at the auxiliary event area, various programs such as resume writing techniques, fingerprint aptitude tests, and resume photo shoots will be conducted as part of employment consulting.
Notably, Korea Aerospace Industries is preparing a talk concert themed 'Aviation Manufacturing Industry Vision Briefing,' which is expected to attract the attention of students interested in the aviation field.
