Gyeonggi Office of Education to Recruit 1,668 Kindergarten, Elementary, and Special Education Teachers Next Year
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will select 1,668 teachers for kindergartens, elementary schools, and special (kindergarten and elementary) schools in Gyeonggi-do in 2023.
The number of recruits by field is ▲ 47 kindergarten teachers ▲ 1,531 elementary school teachers (including 6 regional quota recruits) ▲ 33 special (kindergarten) teachers ▲ 57 special (elementary) teachers. This includes 123 recruits for persons with disabilities.
In addition, the Office of Education will separately select ▲ 5 teachers for national special (elementary) schools ▲ 26 teachers commissioned by private schools.
The selection of private school teachers for the 2023 academic year has been changed from last year to a method where only the first exam is entrusted to the Office of Education.
Examinees applying to private schools can apply simultaneously to public schools if they wish.
Applications will be accepted from the 3rd to the 7th of next month through the NICE Teacher Online Recruitment (Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education) website.
