[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Myunghwan] A fire broke out on the 3rd floor of a three-story commercial building in Jecheon, Chungbuk, resulting in one person being transported to the hospital.
According to the fire authorities, the fire occurred around 1:25 PM on the 10th on the 3rd floor of a three-story commercial building in Yeongcheon-dong, Jecheon-si, Chungbuk.
The fire caused a commotion as six family members who had gathered to celebrate the Chuseok holiday on the 3rd floor evacuated. An 80-year-old woman, Ms. A, inhaled smoke during the evacuation and was taken to the hospital. Although the fire was extinguished within about 20 minutes, part of the interior of the building was damaged.
