Busan Gyeongnam Race Park Closed During Chuseok Holiday... Horse Racing Suspended, Resumes on 14th
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Busan-Gyeongnam Racecourse Park, along with racecourse parks nationwide and 27 branches, will not operate horse racing for one week in observance of the upcoming Chuseok holiday.
The park areas within the racecourse parks will also not be open to the public. Busan-Gyeongnam Racecourse Park usually closes on Mondays and Tuesdays, opens free of charge on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and charges an admission fee of 2,000 KRW on race days Friday through Sunday.
However, during the Chuseok holiday period, due to the lack of management staff and concerns over safety accidents, the park will remain closed from the 7th to the 11th.
The park will reopen normally from the 14th after the holiday, and horse racing will resume starting on the 16th.
