Boseong-gun Establishes Implementation Plan for County Governor's Pledges in the 8th Elected Term
Selection of 81 Unit Projects in 5 Major Fields
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Jeonnam Boseong-gun recently held a report meeting on the Mayor's pledges for the 8th term of direct election and announced that it has established an implementation plan.
The Mayor's pledges for the 8th term of direct election consist of a total of 81 unit projects in five major areas: ▲ Welfare without exclusion, reliable administration ▲ Agriculture, forestry, livestock, and fisheries where everyone prospers together ▲ Attractive culture, sports, and tourism ▲ Safe citizens and a vibrant local economy ▲ Balanced development through regional development by zones.
Major projects include ▲ Support for dentures and implants for low-income elderly ▲ Establishment of a smart village broadcasting system ▲ Payment of 1.2 million KRW public interest allowance to farmers and fishermen ▲ Development of the nation's No. 1 "Premium Boseong Kiwi" ▲ Creation of Yulpo marine leisure tourism hub ▲ Creation of village cultural spaces utilizing vacant houses ▲ Intensive fostering and competitiveness enhancement of traditional food industry ▲ Creation of Boseong Arboretum ▲ Creation of an ecological exploration trail between Beolgyo and Jangdo.
Based on the results of the report meeting, the county plans to revise and supplement the pledges, listen to the opinions of the pledge implementation evaluation group, and finalize the Mayor's pledges for the 8th term of direct election by the end of September after the meeting of the county administration adjustment committee. The finalized pledges will be disclosed to the citizens through the county website, etc.
Kim Cheol-woo, Mayor of Boseong-gun, said, "Since the pledges are promises to the citizens, we will make the implementation of the pledges the top priority of county administration and carry them out sincerely so that the pledge projects can be completed within the term."
