On this day, about 20 members of the merchants' association, along with Geochang County Governor Goo In-mo, participated in the campaign, visiting stores selling peak-season holiday products to promote price stabilization and encourage market merchants who are struggling due to the resurgence of COVID-19 and rising prices.
The county has designated a special price stabilization period (August 21 to September 9) and formed an inspection team to focus on monitoring the price trends of 16 key Chuseok holiday products, compliance with origin labeling, and cracking down on unfair trade practices such as hoarding.
