Director Lee is a financial policy expert who passed the 39th Administrative Examination and has held positions such as head of the Financial Consumer Finance, Industrial Finance, and Financial Policy divisions at the FSC, as well as head of the Financial Innovation Planning Team.

The FSC also transferred Yoo Jae-hoon, Planning and Coordination Officer, to Director of the Financial Consumer Bureau; Jeon Yo-seop, Institutional Operation Planning Officer at the Financial Intelligence Unit, to Structural Improvement Policy Officer; and Shin Jin-chang, Structural Improvement Policy Officer, to Director of the Financial Industry Bureau.
