Gwangju Bank, Gwangun Leaders Club Chuseok Love Sharing Event
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The ‘Gwang-eun Leaders Club,’ a gathering of CEOs from outstanding local small and medium-sized enterprises, held a sharing event on the 5th ahead of Chuseok, uniting members' love for their region.
The Gwang-eun Leaders Club is a local outstanding SME CEO group in partnership with Gwangju Bank, currently boasting around 250 members. Every year, during Lunar New Year and Chuseok, it consistently carries out various sharing activities such as supporting local welfare facilities and the Gwangju-Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea, taking the lead in the development of the local community.
This event took place at the ‘Eunhye Regional Child Center’ located in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, and the ‘Uri Dongnae Regional Child Center’ in Seo-gu. Members of Gwangju Bank and the Gwang-eun Leaders Club delivered home appliances, office supplies, and donations to encourage children at these welfare facilities.
Kim Hong-gyun, Chairman of the Gwang-eun Leaders Club Central Association, said, “Since its founding in 2007, the Gwang-eun Leaders Club, the top CEO gathering in our region, has been committed to social contribution activities and job creation, serving as a foothold for local community development. We will continue to practice warm sharing with marginalized neighbors, actively address local issues, and do our best to coexist with local residents and promote community development.”
