Reducing Unnecessary Waiting Time and Improving Work Efficiency... First Implementation in Gwangju Autonomous District
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju City is taking steps to reduce administrative waste by establishing an efficient reporting system.
On the 5th, Buk-gu announced that it will officially operate the "Face-to-Face Reporting Reservation System," which allows scheduling face-to-face reporting times with the head of the organization in advance, starting this month.
The "Face-to-Face Reporting Reservation System" is a system that reduces unnecessary waiting time by making reservations for reports according to the internal and external schedules of the head of the organization. It is the first time this system has been implemented in a self-governing district in Gwangju.
The "Face-to-Face Reporting Reservation System," developed independently by Buk-gu, was created without additional budget input by building upon the existing meeting room reservation system.
Before full operation, a pilot program was conducted for about a month starting in July targeting all employees, along with a survey to establish the system.
The survey results showed that 79% of employees were satisfied, and 89% agreed with the establishment of the system, receiving generally positive feedback.
Buk-gu plans to actively reflect any improvements that may arise during operation on an ongoing basis.
Director Moon In said, "We expect to reduce administrative waste and increase work efficiency through the Face-to-Face Reporting Reservation System," adding, "We will continue to actively identify and improve inefficient aspects throughout work practices and overall operations."
