According to the Mokpo Maritime Police Station on the 5th, at around 12:51 a.m., resident A (male, in his 70s) from Bigeumdo, Sinan County, who complained of severe abdominal pain, was suspected of having intestinal obstruction based on medical examination results. Following the medical staff's request for transfer to a mainland hospital, a patrol vessel was dispatched urgently.
The Coast Guard boarded Mr. A amid rain at sea and moved to Amtaedo, Sinan County, arriving at Namgang Pier at around 2:26 a.m., where they handed him over to the waiting 119 ambulance team.
Earlier, at around 9:10 a.m. on the 4th, the Coast Guard received a report that resident B (female, in her 60s) from Bigeumdo, Sinan County, was showing symptoms of urinary stones and transported her to Namgang Pier, Amtaedo, using a patrol vessel.
Later that day, despite strong winds exceeding 10 m/s at sea, the Coast Guard safely transported resident C (female, in her 60s), who complained of severe chest pain on Haedo Island, Sinan County, and resident D (male, in his 40s), whose finger was caught and severed by a crane during work, to Bokho Pier on Anjado Island, Sinan County.
