Introducing New Videos and Music... Conducting a Rebranding Campaign
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Mobile financial platform Toss has unveiled a new logo that embodies the meaning of a 'new dimension.'
Toss operator Viva Republica announced on the 5th that it has revealed the redesigned logo and will launch a rebranding campaign.
The new Toss logo, applied across all affiliates starting today, features a three-dimensional representation of a blue circle. It symbolizes the commitment to break stereotypes and continuously introduce finance of a new dimension.
The logo was developed over about a year by a task force (TF) team composed of Toss brand designers. A Toss official explained, "The existing logo conveyed the meaning of 'easy finance like throwing a ball,' but as Toss has grown into a financial super app, a project was initiated to find a new logo that reflects a broader vision. While maintaining Toss’s core blue color, we aimed for a new and distinctive design that embodies Toss’s unique perspective, ultimately deciding on a three-dimensional logo that expresses the ambition to create finance of a new dimension."
Along with the logo change, Toss also launched an official campaign website. The site features the campaign opening video 'The Journey,' realized through 3D animation. Music produced in collaboration with indie band Silica Gel was also released.
The website introduces various images of the new logo and a brand story showcasing Toss’s brand evolution. On the 14th, a brand film produced as part of the Toss rebranding campaign will also be released.
Seunggun Lee, CEO of Viva Republica, stated, "Following the innovations Toss has created so far, we aim to continuously pursue diverse challenges of a new dimension and contribute to building a world where everyone can engage in autonomous financial life regardless of their circumstances."

Meanwhile, to commemorate the rebranding, Toss is holding a ‘Create Your Own Cheer Card’ event until 11:59 PM on the 13th, where 100 winners will be selected by lottery to receive limited-edition Toss T-shirts. Participants can draw a ‘challenge’ concept cheer card that suits them, post it on their personal Instagram, and tag Toss’s official Instagram to enter.
