Gyeonggi-do Supports 200 Smart Devices Including Tablet PCs for Out-of-School Youth
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Out-of-School Youth Support Center has provided 200 smart devices, including tablet PCs, to out-of-school youth.
The provincial Out-of-School Youth Support Center announced on the 5th that it conducted a 'Smart Device Sharing Campaign' for two months from July to August in collaboration with the Korea Federation of Science and Technology Societies, delivering 200 donated tablet PCs and accessories (pouches, wireless keyboards) to out-of-school youth.
The youth supported this time include 169 out-of-school youth aged 12 to 18 registered at the center and students at 31 out-of-school youth support centers.
Applications were accepted from June 13 to 24 at city and county out-of-school youth centers, and recipients were selected through evaluations by the city and county centers and the Korea Federation of Science and Technology Societies.
