HI-SELECT is a name combining Hi-Mart’s ‘Hi’ and ‘Select,’ meaning ‘carefully chosen, to select.’ Lotte Hi-Mart launched this website to promote domestic small and medium partner companies’ products, including its private brand (PB) ‘Hi-Made,’ to consumers and to expand the range of choices when purchasing home appliances.
HI-SELECT operates as both a website and a home appliance magazine. The newly opened website is based on the content of the first issue of the home appliance magazine HI-SELECT Summer Edition, published in June. Visitors can view reviews of 12 products that consumers are usually interested in, such as steam cleaners, foldable fans, robot vacuum cleaners, and window-type air conditioners. The content posted on the HI-SELECT website will be updated based on the quarterly published magazine. Selected review content from the magazine will be posted weekly, focusing on trending home appliances such as eco-friendly products and pet appliances.
HI-SELECT focuses on enhancing user reviews and photo quality. Products are directly selected by Lotte Hi-Mart MDs based on functionality, design, and other criteria. Home appliance specialist influencers personally use the selected products and write reviews to increase expertise. The information includes usage methods, design, performance, convenience, and durability, providing consumers with essential details for purchasing home appliances.
