View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte Duty Free announced on the 31st that it has signed a strategic business agreement for 'foreign exchange customer joint marketing' with Hana Bank.
Based on this agreement, the plan is to comprehensively provide foreign customers residing in Korea with Lotte Duty Free's online and offline shopping benefits and Hana Bank's mobile financial services to enhance customer convenience. According to the Ministry of Justice, as of 2021, there are approximately 2 million foreigners residing in Korea, accounting for about 4% of the total Korean population.
Until December 31 of this year, foreign customers using Hana Bank who visit Lotte Duty Free World Tower store will be offered various shopping benefits through an event. Foreign customers using Hana Bank's multilingual overseas remittance application (app) can enjoy the benefits simply by signing up and logging in.
App users can receive various rewards such as ▲ an upgrade to Lotte Duty Free VIP Gold Membership offering up to 15% shopping discounts ▲ LDF Pay worth 10,000 won that can be used like cash at Lotte Duty Free ▲ discount coupons up to 150,000 won depending on purchase amount. Discount coupons for reasonably priced access to Lotte World Adventure, Lotte World Tower Aquarium, and Seoul Sky Observatory are also provided.
