J's Co Holdings Signs Tripartite MOU on Supercapacitors... "Accelerating Market Penetration"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] J-Sco Holdings, which recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with a supercapacitor (energy storage device) specialist company to officially enter the secondary battery market, is accelerating the expansion of its related business areas by additionally signing an MOU with a promising domestic supercapacitor company.
On the 31st, J-Sco Holdings announced that it signed a tripartite MOU with supercapacitor specialist companies ‘Whidderco’ and ‘Duhyun Infratech’ for the production and research and development of secondary battery products based on supercapacitors. Through this agreement, the three companies plan to jointly carry out ▲ joint development of supercapacitor cell production ▲ joint research and development of related future products ▲ securing facilities and marketing activities necessary for other businesses.
J-Sco Holdings had already signed a related MOU with Whidderco in July. According to the company, this new MOU was signed to rapidly advance business development through the activation of the market and the development of various products utilizing supercapacitors.
Duhyun Infratech, which signed the additional contract this time, is a small and strong company holding the world’s only patent technology for charging and discharging using large-capacity supercapacitors and is pursuing a KOSDAQ technology special listing in 2023. Duhyun Infratech also succeeded in developing the world’s first capacitor solar streetlight and operates branches in Myanmar and Vietnam, as well as conducting business in the United States, Abu Dhabi, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
A J-Sco Holdings official said, “The supercapacitor independently developed by Duhyun Infratech is a high-efficiency device capable of fast charging and discharging even at microcurrent levels,” adding, “Using this, they are developing and selling products in various fields such as solar streetlights, electric motorcycles, electric bicycles, and camping power banks.”
