Lotte Construction announced on the 31st that it was selected as the contractor at the 'Seogeumsa Redevelopment Promotion Zone A Construction Company Selection General Meeting' held on the 27th at the Nongshim Hotel in Dongnae-gu, Busan.
The Seogeumsa Redevelopment Promotion Zone A is a redevelopment project located on approximately 72,051㎡ at 332-4, 773-1 Bugok-dong, Geumjeong-gu, Busan. It is a mega complex consisting of 13 apartment buildings with 2,368 households, ranging from 5 basement floors to 49 above-ground floors. The construction cost is 810.3 billion KRW.
Lotte Construction proposed the complex name 'Prestia Castle.' They will collaborate with the world-renowned architectural firm SMDP, which was responsible for the exterior design of Busan Namcheon Samik Beach and Citizen Park Promotion Zone 3. The plan includes distinctive exterior features, large-scale community facilities including a golf course and indoor swimming pool, and a super high-rise sky bridge, all based on top-level technology.
Meanwhile, Lotte Construction recorded a cumulative order amount of 3.5509 trillion KRW in urban maintenance projects this year. Out of a total of 10 sites, 7 are in the Seoul area, with 2.0096 trillion KRW secured in the first half, ranking first in the industry.

Lotte Construction will also bid for the Hannam 2 District redevelopment, considered the biggest project in the second half of this year. The Hannam 2 District redevelopment project is located on an 82,821㎡ site at 272-3 Bogwang-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and involves constructing 31 buildings with a total of 1,537 households (including 238 rental units), ranging from 6 basement floors to 14 above-ground floors.
