Adrienne Watson, spokesperson for the U.S. National Security Council (NSC), announced on the 30th (local time) that Jake Sullivan, U.S. National Security Advisor, will meet with Kim Sung-han, Director of the National Security Office of the Presidential Office, and Akiba Takeo, Director of the Japanese National Security Secretariat, at the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command in Hawaii on the 1st of next month.

Prior to the trilateral meeting, the security chiefs plan to hold a bilateral meeting on the 31st. Watson stated, "After the trilateral meeting, Advisor Sullivan plans to visit the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command to discuss our alliance relations aimed at protecting a free and open Indo-Pacific."
