[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong County has resumed the export of sweet pumpkins, which had been halted due to the impact of COVID-19, after more than two years.
On the 30th, according to the county, a loading ceremony for exporting 10 tons of sweet pumpkins to Japan was held at Cheonji Agricultural Cooperative Corporation in the morning.

Park Eunha, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, said, “We expect that this export to Japan will help promote the excellence of Hampyeong sweet pumpkins,” adding, “We will continue to contribute to increasing farmers’ income through ongoing field education and technology dissemination.”
