Joint Cooperation on Stadium Facility Safety Inspections and Traffic Fatality Prevention

On the 29th at 11 a.m., the agency signed a "Joint Cooperation Agreement for Achieving a Safe Sports Festival" at Ulsan City Hall for the 103rd National Sports Festival and the 42nd National Para Sports Festival.
This agreement signing ceremony was organized to enable mutual cooperation among public institutions in the safety sector in the Ulsan region to ensure the safe progress of the two major sports festivals scheduled for October.
Attending the signing ceremony were the Chairman of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, the Mayor of Ulsan, the Head of the Ulsan Branch of the Korea Electrical Safety Corporation, the Head of the Ulsan Headquarters of the Korea Gas Safety Corporation, and the Head of the Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the Korea Elevator Safety Agency, along with representatives from four public institutions.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲ conducting safety inspections of stadium facilities and construction sites ▲ providing safety management advice and consulting ▲ establishing an emergency contact system for safety experts ▲ conducting safety education for event staff ▲ preventing safety accidents and spreading a safety and health culture ▲ and other mutual cooperation matters for a safe sports festival.
From September until the end of the sports festival period, a special inspection team for stadium facilities will be organized to carry out intensive on-site inspections.
