Black Yak, 50th Anniversary Emblem Design Contest
Submission on Black Yak website by October 5, Award Winners Including Grand Prize to be Announced in October
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Outdoor company BYN Black Yak announced on the 29th that it will hold a '50th Anniversary Emblem' design contest to celebrate its 50th anniversary next year.
This contest was planned to discover an emblem design that can embody the heritage of BYN Black Yak, which started its mountaineering equipment business in 1973 under the name 'Dongjin' and has grown into a global outdoor company.
The design should incorporate the number 50, symbolizing the 50th anniversary, and reflect images representing BYN Black Yak's history and tradition, spirit of challenge, and future values.
Anyone can participate, and submissions can be made through the Black Yak website until October 5th. BYN Black Yak will evaluate the submitted works based on originality, completeness, suitability, and usability, and announce the winners in October. Prizes include 3 million KRW for the grand prize (1 person), 1 million KRW for the excellence award (2 people), 700,000 KRW for the merit award (3 people), and 500,000 KRW for the encouragement award (5 people). The grand prize-winning design will be used for the 50th anniversary events, promotions, and commemorative product production.
