Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to Host 'Spatial Big Data Competition' from 19th to 30th Next Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 28th that it will hold the 'Spatial Big Data Competition' from the 19th to the 30th of next month to discover ideas using spatial information and big data.
The competition themes are closely related to the lives of the public: ▲ Preparing for the 'Post-COVID' era ▲ Solving housing problems and supporting residential welfare.
Anyone with ideas on the two themes using spatial information and big data can participate individually or as a group. It is also possible to participate in both themes simultaneously.

After first and second rounds of judging, five teams will be finally selected in November, including one grand prize winner, two excellence award winners, and two encouragement award winners. Selected teams will receive education and mentoring to directly analyze their proposed ideas and cases using the platform's analysis tools. Additionally, the selected works will be made public on the Spatial Big Data Analysis Platform in December for anyone to reference and utilize.
