View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] Members of the Korean University Students Progressive Union were arrested by police while attempting to enter the U.S. military base in Yongsan, Seoul.
On the 26th, the Seoul Yongsan Police Station announced that they had arrested and were investigating four members of the group on charges including trespassing.
It is reported that around 12:30 PM that day, while protesting in front of Exit 3 of the ROK-U.S. Combined Forces Command in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, calling for the suspension of joint ROK-U.S. military exercises, they attempted to enter the base to deliver a letter.
